Hello! I’m Susan DiFelice
I am a Freelance Web & Graphic Designer
Located in North Carolina, I am a freelance graphic designer with 19 years of experience and specialize in website creation for equestrian businesses, small businesses and startups.
As both a graphic and fine artist, I bring a strong aesthetic quality to my projects without losing the impact and communications message of the businesses that I work for.
My experience with major pharmaceutical companies and university campuses means that I understand how to manage large projects from their conception to delivery, that the work retains high quality and disability access across several platforms, and that there is a seamless transition of product from the designer to the owner after the project is complete.
I have strong interpersonal communication skills with an open adaptive style, which enables me to service customers who have a hard time articulating their vision. I maintain effectual relationships with local vendors and consistently meet deadlines with high visibility. I have been an equestrian for 30 years and a freelance designer for nearly 20 years. I recently wrote and illustrated a kid’s activity book about horses, and created Allpony – Horsemanship for Kids website.

“Susan is the best to work with. I am so pleased with the website and logo she created for me. I have already seen an increase in calls for my business since the site launches last month.”Bev Burnette
“My new website looks great and I’m already getting calls! A woman called two days ago and said what a professional website I have!”.Annie Lewis
“I know I’ve said to you many times how much we love our new website, but I thought it would be good for you to see that others, too, love it as well. We’ve been sending out the announcement via our various listservs as well as on Facebook. Nothing but positive responses. I share this with you so that you will know how much we appreciate the amazing job you did for us. We are quite pleased that we had the opportunity to work with YOU. You rock!”Rhonda Beatty
“Susan is an amazing designer. This is evident by her being sought out for continued design work – both print and digital – by groups outside of Web Services. She is always willing to help and consistently produces top-quality results. Once client even indirectly complimented Susan’s work by referencing the Medical School’s web presence as one they particularly liked… a site Susan was involved with the design for.”Jeremy Davis
“Our goal was to do a complete website redesign with a more modern look and feel. We started out working with another person but found the experience extremely frustrating so we switched to Susan. The difference was night and day. Susan was professional, well-organized, efficient, knowledgeable and quickly able to help us articulate and accomplish our vision for the website. We highly recommend her to anyone looking to develop or modernize their website.”Dan Bauer
“Your work is really, really incredible. Your projects are breathtaking in appearance, and it’s amazingly hard to find graphic designers who hit an aesthetic mark and still understand the functionality of the message.”Christine Shia
“I write to thank you – and the entire team in your offices, particularly Susan DiFelice, with whom we had so much contact, as well as others around the campus – for the outstanding service you provided during every phase of development of the New Ackland website. From the very first meetings where we imagined the final product to the day the new site went live, you have been an amazing partner in meeting our strategic (and time-sensitive) goals. I hope you know that everyone here has expressed their appreciation.”Amanda Millay Hughes
“Susan is very skilled designer and has a strong grasp of modern web design standards and best practices. She has a reputation among her peers and manager as being organized, reliable, and willing to fully understanding client needs.”Billy Hylton
