One of my favorite types of projects is collaborating with companies that are creating thoughtful resources for the equestrian community. Stable Mind’s Rider’s Block™ card game series was exactly that kind of project.

I partnered with Stable Mind to create the illustrations and packaging design for multiple Rider’s Block™ activity decks, translating common experiences in the horse world into clean, engaging vector artwork. Each deck required its own visual identity while remaining consistent with the overall Rider’s Block brand.

The illustrations capture everything from quiet moments of reflection to familiar riding challenges, blending a touch of humor with authentic equestrian experiences. As both an illustrator and lifelong horsewoman, I enjoyed bringing those relatable moments to life in a way that horse people would instantly recognize.

In addition to creating dozens of custom illustrations, I designed the packaging layouts, developed cohesive icon systems, and prepared the artwork for print production. Seeing the finished decks move from concept sketches to products that riders can hold in their hands is one of the most rewarding parts of the creative process.

I’m honored to be listed as one of the illustrators on the Stable Mind website and excited to see the first Rider’s Block™ decks now available: https://stablemindeq.com/
